Who is behind the method
I didn’t come from a monastery, long spiritual retreats, or an academic background in psychology or psychiatry.
I come from real life — entrepreneurship, work, pressure, bills, deadlines, decisions, and inner wars that almost no one sees.
I’m an engineer by training, an entrepreneur, someone who has chased goals, won awards, and reached what the world calls “success”.
But I discovered that none of that sustains life if the soul is misaligned.
Just like you, I didn’t have the luxury of disappearing from the world to find myself:
I couldn’t live in a monastery or do one full degree in psychology and another in psychiatry.
I needed to live, work, and care for people — while dealing with more than 6,000 thoughts a day.
It was in that place, between responsibilities and inner conflicts, that I began a deep search:
emotional neuroscience, practical psychology, ancient spiritual traditions, hermeticism, the Bible, meditation, somatic therapies — and, above all,
the hard school of life itself, falling and rising many times.
After years facing my own cycles of anxiety, impulses, subtle addictions, and even seasons where I needed medication to stabilize my mood,
it became clear to me that no one ever taught us how to read our own soul.
And that this knowledge needed to be translated for those who live “in the world”, not outside of it.
That’s how Canva Espiritual was born:
a method that unites emotional science, living spirituality, and simple language, in steps of 3 to 8 minutes,
designed for ordinary people — workers, parents, entrepreneurs, students — who want peace, clarity, and inner governance in the middle of daily life.
I’m Gustavo Prado.
If this map has brought light to my path, I now place that same light in your hands.
